At TC Transcontinental, We've got it made, and that's because of the expertise of our team.We are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our team at the Menasha Plant. Essential to TC Transcontinental Packaging operations, the Maintenance Manager leads the maintenance department by providing guidance to all salary and hourly maintenance employees, completing continuous improvement objectives, and planning preventative and predictive maintenance. This includes oversight on upkeep, repair and improvements of property and equipment. This person works collaboratively with operational leaders to perform root cause and corrective action analyses and recommend improvements in production methods. The Maintenance Manager reports to the Plant Manager.What you will do
  • Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.
  • Monitor work requests, work scheduling and work order completion rates and address outages as they arise and conduct necessary follow up
  • Foster effective working relationships between maintenance and other departments
  • Engage all plant employees in collaborative efforts to resolve breakdowns and close work requests
  • Develop proficiency with the use of the CMMS system
  • Ensure constant regulatory compliance through action plans and effective training
  • Conduct performance reviews with maintenance team and determine continuing education opportunities to ensure proper skillset to service our internal customers
  • Direct spare parts inventory processes and continuously evaluate inventory levels to ensure critical spare parts are promptly available without excessive quantities
  • Define reasonable predictive and preventative maintenance tasks for all assets, ensure they are effective and prescribe that work documented to enable KPI's and continuous improvement for the department
  • Lead root cause analysis and develop work procedures to minimize or eliminate problems and develop and monitor measurements to increase machine uptime and productivity throughout the plant

What you have to offer
  • Preferred BS degree in related Field (Maintenance, Engineering, Business Administration), minimum High School Diploma/GED with equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing
  • Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience
  • An understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and controls
  • Experience in a structured maintenance environment where work is scheduled and spare parts are inventoried locally
  • A demonstrated ability to use computer systems to manage work, including a strong knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office
  • A demonstrated understanding of leadership decision making, prioritization and ability to supervisor the activities of others
  • Detail minded with capability to maintain organization of records
  • Effectively communicate with leadership, maintenance team members, production team members, vendors and contractors via email, phone or in one-on-one matters.
  • The ability to coach team members to help them improve their skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment and remain calm in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to exemplify professional behavior and confidentiality
