Our Georgia-Pacific Green Bay Broadway facility is searching for a Repair Shop Planner to work a Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shift in our Maintenance department within the Repair Shop group. This is a highly skilled hourly position requiring a thorough understanding of safe work practices, troubleshooting, and precision maintenance of manufacturing equipment and processes. The successful applicant will support our maintenance efforts and strive to further the reliability vision of being a world class manufacturer.

The Green Bay Broadway Mill manufactures and distributes leading commercial and retail brands of paper products (bath tissue, napkins, and towels). Every day, GP employees and products help maintain a strong, stable economy in Northeastern Wisconsin.

What You Will Do

  • Planning and coordinating repair work of mechanical equipment such as paper machine rolls, pumps, and agitators.
  • Planning and coordinating fabrication work such as parts created with CNC lathes, milling machines, and a water jet table.
  • Managing raw material inventories and supplies.
  • Receiving quotes and creating purchase requisitions for repairs.
  • Coordinating the documentation and creation of standard procedures
  • Creating new part numbers for repair shop equipment and materials

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • A minimum of two (2) years in a mechanical maintenance or mechanical designer position
  • A minimum of two (2) years or more of experience in a manufacturing system using a CMMS software
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience as a Maintenance Scheduler or Planner in an industrial environment
  • Experience with SAP software
  • Experience with different Computer-Aided Design software and Computer-Aided Manufacturing software
  • Experience reading and updating prints
