This position is responsible to support the End to End activities led by the Accelerator Product Designer. The candidate will have participation in R&D projects aiming to disrupt the food and beverage industry through breakthrough innovation in order to deliver incremental growth outside Nestle's core. The Summer Intern will also collaborate with support functions and team members to ensure Food Safety and Quality consistency in the Minimum Viable Products developed by the teams.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and validate Standard Operation Procedures that ensure our operations meet Safety, Food Safety and Quality Standards in the Innovation Kitchen Lab.
  • Attend Accelerator Project Meetings to ensure product design solves our future consumers pain points.
  • Build a Mock Traceability System for our Shop Test Operations.
  • Support Product Designer in creation process of new innovative concepts
  • Coordinate and execute technical tastings.
  • Facilitate prototyping sessions in the Innovation Kitchen Benchtop.
  • Assist in the creation of an End-to-End Innovation Playbook for the project teams.
  • Support team with national/international shipment/reception of MVPs and/or Ingredients.
  • Create Visual Standards for Accelerator Common Areas.
  • Aid in the evaluation of novel ingredients and/or technologies.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Knowledge):

  • College or University student pursuing a degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or relevant scientific fields.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn new things, and the ability to work in a team with diverse responsibilities.
  • Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal. Including ability to present findings, write reports, and collaborate with team members.
  • Preferred previous experience in research, whether through academic projects, internships, or independent studies
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet objectives, and deliver results.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Software
