Responsibilities
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Online Banking Product Specialist supports Online Banking Product Management with day-to-day activities including communication with M&I business owners, Operations, Technology Systems, Marketing Communications, Compliance, and external vendors to identify, manage, and deliver various eBusiness projects that support M&I online strategies and the various constituents within M&I.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university.
3-4 years of professional work experience

WEB EXPERIENCE
*Guide the strategy for all online sales, marketing and merchandising experiences, including communicating and reinforcing brand positioning and value proposition across all customer touch points within the online space.
*Serve as subject matter expert and key stakeholder on all online sales, marketing and merchandising initiatives related to retail deposit and credit products.
*Working with key stakeholders, develop business requirements and drive development of platform enhancements and new/enhanced online sales, marketing and merchandising functionality to minimize abandonments while maximizing conversions and revenue.
*Working with online channel/product management, serve as key stakeholder in driving development of a public and secured Web experience that improves/encourages acquisition and builds/supports customer relationships.

PRODUCT, SALES AND MARKETING
*Lead development and execution of a cross functional strategy to enhance existing sales marketing and merchandising strategies with new, highly effective online programs. Strategy to incorporate the use of social media, email, promotions, events, personalization, segmentation and other appropriate venues.
*Identify and implement programs that drive awareness and traffic to the channel in order to grow revenue and effectively augment branch sales.
*Provide guidance and recommendations to product marketing programs which span across online, direct, and traditional media.
*Supervise and manage product placement, visibility of key items, content and execution of promotions, sale events and product promotions, consistent with quarterly revenue goals.
*Evaluate online competitors strengths, weaknesses and strategies, and recommend effective counter strategies necessary to sustain a competitive, online product offering.

FUNNEL CONVERSION
*Lead eCommerce optimization strategies and improvements, partnering with key stakeholders to increase conversion rates and revenue goals.
*Deliver measurable SEO results by driving the definition and management of our SEO strategy. Provide guidance to ensure deliverables are executed as expected (on-page optimization, link building, social media book marking, blog posting, etc)
*Deliver measurable PPC results by driving the definition and management of our PPC strategy. Work directly with the PPC analyst to ensure bid/ad optimization goals are being met, such as ensuring achievement of Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and Profitability goals.
*Drive web/keyword copy quality assurance of all sites (spelling, grammar, links, redirects) and work with A/B and MVT testing tools.
*Use web analytics, market research, behavioral studies, and a variety of competitive analyses to drive decision making. Evaluate marketing program ROI analyses and marketing tactics and recommend merchandising and Web experience enhancements to further optimize ROI.

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
*Contribute to the planning process and manage the delivery of tactics supporting the eCommerce roadmap. Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on strategic eCommerce projects.
*Manage the prioritization of initiatives based on a deep understanding of business drivers; while balancing the needs of both customers and key stakeholders.
*Develop and manage the financial plan for the online business, including sales forecast, gross margins, direct expenses, and contribution to operating income.
*Track and communicate online sales performance against plan. Provide an ROI analysis on marketing expenses and make recommendations of future allocation expenses.
*Present new eCommerce opportunities to senior management based on sound market opportunity assessment and consumer feedback studies.
*Assure compliance and standards with processes, policies and tools within the group.

MEASUREMENT & REPORTING
*Champion data driven insights on product positioning, customer behavior, lifetime value and online asset persuasiveness measurement to maximize revenue opportunities and improve site sales performance.
*Manage and deliver business reporting, metrics, & analysis providing the information necessary to support optimal business decisions.
*Understand, act on and report on site analytics, SEO and PPC KPIs (ROI, ROAS, conversions, abandonment, etc) to all stakeholders. Formalize and lead our conversion test strategy including A/B testing, predictive ad testing, etc.

ADDITONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelors Degree in related field desired.
*Seven or more years related professional work experience preferred.
*Seven or more years of online marketing and online product management.
*Seven or more years of eCommerce expertise.
*Excellent knowledge of project management, operations and current industry trends.
*Demonstrates strong leadership, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
*The ability to respond effectively to change and ambiguity.
*Proven outstanding sales, interpersonal, and communication skills.
*Well established negotiations skills.
*Sound organizational and time management skills.
